We care deeply about your health, wellness, and safety. We’re in unnerving times, and I want to express my appreciation to our always thoughtful community as we work together to safely navigate the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We know from many of you that getting away is often an important respite in the most stressful of times – whether during an intense period of work, school, or something else. If you’re willing, well, and comfortable, we want you to know that we are here for you and welcome you to road trip out of the city and experience the simple joys of being in nature.
Here are some of the things we are doing in response to the coronavirus:
- We have intensified cleaning procedures to ensure cabins are more deeply disinfected to prevent germs from spreading and to ensure your safety.
- We are closely monitoring the guidance of local health officials and the CDC for all of our locations. We are following all recommendations to provide for our guests safety and comfort in our cabins.
- Our Outposts are quiet places without communal spaces or in-person interaction, including easy self-check in and check out processes.
- Given the uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, if you have a reservation and feel sick or otherwise do not feel up to getting away, please reach out to us and we will provide you with a credit for the value of your Getaway to be used at a future date at any Getaway Outpost.
In line with stay at home orders from state governments, our Outposts in California, New York, Ohio, and the Pacific Northwest are temporarily closed. Getaway Big Bear is accepting bookings from April 20 onward, Getaway Catskills East and Getaway Catskills West are accepting bookings from April 4, Getaway Beaver Creek is welcoming guests from April 6 onwards, as is Getaway Mount Adams. We are assessing cancellations onward on a 2 week rolling basis, according to guidance from state governments.
